Over the last few months we have been working with the NIACRO and Lakewood to deliver a Draw My Life style video project with young people in Lakewood Secure unit. The programme had the young people look at various aspects of their lives, then create a storyboard to plan their hand drawn animations. The activity is around identifying life goals, positive aspirations for the future, friends, family as well as personal reflection. They then used the iPads to film their drawings, which they edited together using iMovie. Finally they created a soundtrack and recorded a voice over, telling the story of their lives, before editing the whole thing together.
