BEAMA were delighted to receive funding from the Lightbody foundation to work in partnership with 7 youth organisations to deliver 30 creative workshops, to over 60 young across NI in partnership with Streetbeat Youth Project, BEAM Creative Network, Orchardville Society, NOW Project and NIACRO.

Each group of young people got take part in a 6 session programme in a creative area of their choice, working towards creating a piece of digital content. The projects were youth led , with young people making key decisions from project initiation through to the final production

The aim of the project was to promote creative activity and provide opportunities for young people across NI including young people in care, those affected by mental health issues as well as young people with additional needs. Project aims were to increase confidence and self esteem while increasing wellbeing & improve mental health
