BEAMA were delighted to receive funding from the Lightbody foundation to deliver 30 creative workshops across NI in partnership with Streetbeat Youth Project, BEAM Creative Network, Orchardville Society, NOW Project and NIACRO.

Each group of young people got take part in a 6 session programme in a creative area of their choice, working towards creating a piece of digital content.

The first group up in the series of project posts is the No Limits group at BEAM Creative Network. No Limits engages young people with additional needs from the Donaghmore/ Dungannon area to encourage them to take part in an inclusive arts project of workshops in drama, music and dance.

BEAMA delivered 6 sessions around the theme of electronic music with the groups producing a range of compositions and music based digital content. Workshops included live electronic music performance, fruit and veg electronic orchestra, audio sampling with the group also creating short digital animation to go along with their compositions.
