60 young people from across NI took part in an exciting music and film project funded by the the Department of Communities, and led by Belfast Electronic Arts and Music Academy (BEAMA) in partnership with Westland Community Centre, Cliftonville Community Centre, YEHA, Erne East Community Partnership Lisnaskea and The Find Centre Enniskillen

Additionally BEAMA have worked on Uniting Opportunities initiatives over the last year with an additional 60 young people in partnerships with Ashton Community Trust, AYE, Groundworks, NOW project and the Orchardville Society.

Uniting Opportunities aims to deliver projects which will promote good relations and reconciliation through sport, physical and creative activity by addressing the barriers to community participation that some young people face.

BEAMA worked with young people over a ten week period using a range of digital media projects to bring young people from different communities together, by exploring different types of music and film , then bringing them together in a live DJ mix and producing short films and animations.
