BEAMA delivered a  6 session programme in DJing  and Music Production to a group of young men from Streetbeat youth project based in the Woodvale area of Belfast. The project was kindly funded by the Lightbody Foundation

Streetbeat Youth Project is a registered charity working to help young people fulfil their potential, whilst responding to their need for support and guidance. Streetbeat offers young people aged 11-18 a safe place to learn, grow and be challenged in their values and behaviour.

BEAMA delivered a number of socially distanced workshops with young people getting to grips with state of the DJ technology.

The young people developed new skills in music arrangement, learning how to mix and arrange tracks, while working towards recording a live DJ mix.
