BEAMA were delighted to receive funding from the Lightbody foundation to deliver 30 creative workshops across NI in partnership with Streetbeat Youth Project, BEAM Creative Network, Orchardville Society, NOW Project and NIACRO.

We had the pleasure of working with 21 young people from the Orchardville society who participate in social sessions as well as arts projects. Orchardville engages young people with additional needs from across NI to encourage them to take part in a a wide range of activities from employability to social activities.

BEAMA delivered 5 sessions covering electronic music, animation, and graphic design with the young people in socially distanced workshops. The group create unique music pieces as well as a short digital animation to go along with their compositions. The BEAMA team had an absolute blast working with the young people, each week there was plenty of banter and pizza and well as creative activities!
